Why Our Sound Baths Are Just That Bit More Special Gratitude, Angels & a Touch of Magic

Every sound bath we host is special and not just because of the beautiful sounds or the calming space (although those are pretty lush, too).

There’s so much that goes into making these sessions what they are. From the careful placement of each mat, to the soft lighting, the warm welcome, and the ceremonial cacao that sets the tone… it’s a full-on vibe.

And behind the scenes? There’s my lovely boyfriend, always there helping with the heavy lifting literally. Mats, lights, instruments, speakers you name it, he’s hauling it in and setting it up with love and patience (even when I’ve changed the layout three times). He doesn’t get enough credit, but he’s a massive part of the reiki sound sanctuary experience.

But today, I want to give a special thank you to our two little earth angels - Olivia and Zoe.

These girls bring Angelic Healing to our sound baths, and watching them work their magic while I’m playing is honestly one of the most incredible parts of the evening for me. Their connection, their energy, and the feedback they get from guests every single time? It blows me away.

Now, I know what some people are thinking…

“Angels??”

Sounds a bit woo, right?

Some people hear the word and check out instantly or think it’s all feathers and fairy dust. But here’s the thing: energy healing is real. You don’t have to fully understand it for it to work.

Reiki, angelic healing, and other energy-based therapies connect with subtle energies in and around the body. These practices help bring balance, calm, and sometimes deep emotional release and for those who are open to it, they can be life-changing.

Let’s be real, we live in a world where millions believe in God, Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, and more. We believe in guardian angels, spirit guides, miracles, prayer… but when someone mentions energy healing or angelic light beings, it’s suddenly “a bit far out”? I’m calling that out, I told you I wasn’t messing about anymore 😂

If it’s done with healing intention, and it makes people feel seen, safe, and supported, then isn’t that something beautiful, maybe even sacred?

And hey, if you’ve read my blog about the placebo effect, you’ll know just how ridiculously powerful belief can be. It’s not about proving what’s real to anyone else, it’s about what feels real to you.

So whether you fully believe in angels or you’re just curious… I encourage you to give it a go. Come to a session. Let yourself feel. You don’t need to understand it all to benefit from it.
